We offer both Critical Friend support for written proposals AND pre-interview coaching to maximise your chances. We can't wave a magic wand and guarantee funding, but we'll make sure you're making the strongest case possible!
In 2023 we also introduced a new model, particularly to support 1st time Director's; more in-depth support for anyone who needs that little bit more. Perhaps you're a 1st time PI on a grant of this size/strategic nature. If so, we've got you covered!

A Research in Focus Course...
Work?
Our online courses consist of a number of modules and for our Masterclass style, in-depth, courses individual lessons within those modules. Each module/lesson consists of a video overview outlining the key content for that module and instructions for undertaking the learning/implementation activities. You'll also find downloadable PDFs which complement the video and describe the activities to be undertaken in more detail. Where we think it's useful, we've also included templates within the PDF workbook so that you can just print the booklet out and fill it in (for some courses we recommend students use pen and paper rather than working electronically!). Please remember that the booklet is for the course participants use only. These courses operate on trust and honour so we've poured ALL of our knowledge into those booklets; please don't abuse that by passing them on.

Then we'll apply the cold, harsh lens of reality to ensure that the plan you put in place will survive it's encounter with day to day academic life. Our goal is to ensure you spend the next 12 months in greater control of your own destiny!
