OUR Reflect & RESET COURSE
Not feeling very much like you at the moment? To us, it feels like this year has been even crazier than usual! So, we've re-released our summer reset (originally designed for the 2022/23 academic year) course at a very special price!

Here's what you can expect if you join our reflect & reset course:
- 6 weekly modules (modules 1&2 will be released together).
- Each module consists of a 15 - 30 minute video overview from the course leader AND a detailed workbook.
- Work through the questions and thought prompts in each module at your own pace.
- Registration is open NOW, the course starts as soon as you are ready and you work through it at your own pace!
- Please ensure that you're happy to comply with the Code of Conduct for our Courses & other policies (linked at bottom of page) before signing up!
The modules will help you take stock of where you are now, once you've established a baseline you'll have an evidence based, realistic understanding of where you are now. Then you'll do some dreaming and some exploring of what your priorities really are. Then with the aid of the course materials you'll put it all back together into an overarching action plan for the year and a set of filters which will help you differentiate from what is helping you and what is holding you back AS the next 12 months roll by. This course gets you into proactive NOT reactive mode:

Hi, I'M BECKY!

I founded Research in Focus in 2012 after a 12 year career with the UK Research Councils (and an MBA along the way and an electrochemistry PhD before that!) and I'm on a mission to help researchers get funded!!!
I know how many good ideas out there don't get funded so I'm here to help if you want to increase your luck, if you're a bit stuck or your Research Office aren't well enough staffed to give you the sort of attention or maybe they don't have the sort of expertise that comes from sitting inside the system for over a decade...
When I'm not coaching academics you'll find me exploring with my camper van or at the blunt end of a loaded archery bow ;-)
