Artemis Project Coaching: make the contributions you were always meant to!

We're offering individual and group coaching support with our Institute of Women Centred Coaching (IWCC) trained coach Becky Steliaros. Becky has completed her IWCC Foundations Certificate and is currently working towards her full Coaching and Facilitation Certification.

For individuals we currently offer a 9 session (scheduled over 9-12 weeks to maximise outcomes for the person being coached) 1:1 coaching package designed to unlock next level performance. We've specifically structured this package for overwhelmed researchers, who have thousands of plates currently spinning and see no way to move to the next step in their career. Perhaps you have a specific goal in mind but try as you might you seem to be stuck!  Come work with Becky for 9 sessions, and she'll support you to get unstuck.  Perhaps for the 1st time in a while, after working with Becky you'll see the possibility of success and will have achieved at least significant progress, regardless of how enormous your goal is!

Over the next few months we will be adding to the support available in this area by including group coaching workshops and multi-session programmes for universities/faculties.

Coaching is proven to underpin higher performance, but isn't for everyone and can't solve all problems! Coaching, and the women centred method in particular, is designed to support participants to examine what has been holding them back, and then take action, particularly (for women-centred coaching) where the vision for change is at the self-actualising level i.e. not a simple, strategic change where the pathway is known. If it was simple, if the path was clear and obstacle free, you'd have done it already; you're a brilliant woman after all, who has already achieved so much! Self actualisation means a vision for change to help you achieve your full potential as a human. A simple way to think about self-actualisation goals are those that are about being, rather than doing. Being more confident, being a world-leading researcher, being in control of your own destiny, being on a pathway to contribute everything you can to the world!

Therefore engaging a coach will be pointless if you know exactly what you want to achieve and the steps to get there, or aren't stuck in any way. Coaching is also pointless for individuals who don't need support to progress because they are perfectly happy where they are in life!  A coach can support you to unlock progress that has thus far eluded you facing the challenge alone, they will use sometimes difficult questions and help you explore, and weigh up pathways to support you to get where you want to go. Coaching is a two way process, it is a partnership. You need to be ready to exert self-leadership and take action for yourself, with your coach backing you up every step of the way!

Book a FREE Zoom call with Becky to discover your next steps

You can read more about why a specific women-centred coaching method is needed, when it's NOT suitable, and the background research that the method is based on here.

If the method seems like the answer you were looking for, your next step is to book a 30-minute discovery call to explore whether what appears to be holding you back is amenable to the women centred coaching approach.  As part of our informal chat we'll develop an action plan so you'll be clear about your next steps regardless of whether, or not it's a coachable issue.  If the issue appears amenable to the method, I'll outline what you can expect, how the method works as well as logistics such as timescales and fees.

Need to see the session structure for the 9 week programme before setting up a call? Please check it out here.

What qualifies Becky to coach me?

This work is informed by our own research and 25+ years supporting researchers, in addition to the PhD research and subsequent professional work of Dr Claire Zammit, now encapsulated within the services and training offered by the Institute for Women Centred Coaching (IWCC).

Becky (Dr Becky Steliaros, RiF's founder, and the passion behind this passion project) has become certified in the Foundations of Women Centred Coaching by the IWCC and is currently working towards her full Coaching and Facilitation Certification.  You can read more about women-centred coaching here.

If the principles and practices of women centred coaching are not what you are looking for, you're needs will be better served by our standard services, which are based on generalist coaching approaches.  All the information you need about our online courses, workshops and grant/interview coaching is available here: RiF services
